I am a FCST major, my concentration is Child Life Specialist. I chose this major because when I was younger I looked up to my Child Life Specialist which made me want to be just like her. Also because of the fact that I was unable to be a fighter pilot in the air force because of medical reasonings.
My current career plans are to have a career in the field I am studying. I do plan to marry, for rich or poor, doesn't matter to me as long as I'm happy, safe, and stable. I love to travel and wish my job in the future could some how be condusive to traveling, but since it is not I plan on doing as much traveling on my on time as I can afford.
I am obviously currently a student, a Junior to be exact. I transfered to MSU from University of Delaware. I live in south Jersey with my Mom, older sister, Mimi (grandmother), two dogs (both of which are females) My mom's partner and her niece. Which makes for seven women under one roof, believe me it can get crazy but is always fun at the same time. During school however I live on campus with my three friends. I am 21 years old and love to play sports, I run for MSU's womens track team but I enjoy many other sports as well.
The funniest thing that has ever happpened to me would probably be the time when I was explaining to my one roommate how my sisters tease me on how I'm so weird that they think I'm adopted, and then my roommate goes, "I am adopted". We were both laughing so hard I cried and we still talk about this today.
What might be interesting about me is, I am a huge patriots and red sox fan, I love flying, I have an obsession with going to the beach as much as I possibly can, I am a horrible person to hold a conversation with in texting, I am teaching myself how to play the guitar, I used to play the piano, trumpet, and sang, I am slightly an adrenaline junkie, and I hate lady bugs.
My mom and dad are divorced, I have two sisters, one who still lives with my mom, and the other is married with a six month old baby girl (and still complains on having the middle child syndrom). My mom has one brother, and he has four kids all two years a part. I have a big family that seems to grow every year. My mimi who is my mom's mom comes from eighteen brothers and sisters that we know of. My mom's partner, Joanne, also has a huge italian family who is always in and out of our house. But that's just the way I like it.
I think that' the group project with using the book is going to be very interesting, I am actually very excited to start working on it and see the differences, and how the self help books we all think are so helpful really aren't.
I like the blogger, I have never used a blog before, but I love writing so I'm thinking this will be fun and easy for me to keep up with.
I kind of like Wiki, Its different and I find it easy to navigate. I think it might be better and more informative than blackboard and I'm glad we are using it.
